This dish is found in and around Patna. It takes 30 minutes to cook.

Ingredients:
Gram Flour [2 cups]
Turmeric powder, red chilly pepper [1/4 teaspoon each]
Coriander powder [1 teaspoon]
Garam masala (mixed spices) and raw mango powder (amchur) [1/2 teaspoon each]
1 medium size onion and coriander leaves
Mustard Oil [1 tablespoon]
Salt to taste

Add turmeric powder, salt and red chilly powder to the gram flour and knead it well.
Shape the flour into small balls. Take a deep pan. Coat the bottom with ghee or oil (alternatively use non-stick pan). Add half litre of water and bring it to a boil. Gently add the flour balls. Let it simmer on medium heat for 10 minutes. Strain the water and slice the balls into long pieces. Add the oil and minced onion in a wok (kadai) and bring the onion to a brownish colour. Add the garam masala (mixed spices), amchur (raw mango powder) and salt to it and fry on low heat for 5 munutes.

Sprinkle some coriander leaves on top, The dish is ready to be served as a side vegetable dish along with chappati or whatever suits you.
